P.S. I am happy to report that all the lawyers I know are pretty much WTFF Hollywood & rape defenders over the Roman Polanski thing. Something about lack of respect for the legal system, I dunno. For some craaaaazy reasons lawyers tend not to like that part about breaking laws and fleeing from justice instead of, oh, say, APPEALING. And most of my lawyer friends aren't really the type to give a big thumbs-up to child rape either, so there's that too.

P.P.S. Oh yeah, there's fanwank about the new Spice and Wolf cover too. T___T Granted, I don't like it either (but yeah, she *is* pretty naked in the beginning of the book, dudes), but really guys (I am never going to take someone ranting about disgusting 3d pigs srsly, kthx, and FOR CRYING OUT LOUD THE TAGLINE IS NOT THAT FUCKING IMPORTANT)? Or maybe I'm just bitter that certain series will never be completed in English and if fanwanking keeps up, this might be the next one. *sigh*

AT LEAST THERE'S A NEW CHAPTER OF OTOYOMEGATARI OUT. (Which, naturally, consists of menfolk being sexist pigs. >__> BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BAD GUYS.)

naraht won't be back for a couple weeks so we'll sort it out then. I don't know who else volunteered but I know the_future_modernes did so that's at least 2 POC who'll be around. Especially since we've been around since the original RaceFail 09 and know how things go.
